If there’s one thing that will add resistance to your workout, it’s using your toddler as a weight — something Brittany Mahomes knows firsthand.

Brittany, who shares 3-year-old daughter Sterling and 1-year-old son Bronze with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, incorporated their little boy into her exercise routine in the sweetest way.

“My dumbbell for the day,” Brittany, 28, captioned a photo of herself holding Bronze on her hip via her May 9 Instagram Story. The former soccer player, clad in workout gear, snapped the selfie in the gym mirror.

Elsewhere on her Instagram Story, she shared several videos of herself working out by, as she said, utilizing Bronze as a dumbbell. In one clip, Bronze laid on top of his mama while she strengthened her legs. In another, she carried him on her back as she did squats.

Brittany also shared a post praising her son for how he handled his sister Sterling’s recent illness. “He was sooooo patient when Ster wasn’t feeling good and was just the best brother but now he’s making up for it and won’t leave my side,” she captioned a picture snuggling with her 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦.Brittany Mahomes Son BronzeBrittany Mahomes walks the field before the game against the Los Angeles Chargers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on October 22, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. Fortunately for both Sterling and her mom, the little girl was feeling better hours later, Brittany posted in an update via her Instagram Story.Brittany Mahomes snuggles with son Bronze (From: @brittanylynne official IG) “Who says a dip in the pool can’t fix it,” she wrote alongside a shot of her holding Sterling in the pool. “Sis just randomly said she wanted to go swimming so we are feeling better.” Brittany and Patrick — high school sweethearts who tied the knot in 2020 — proudly (and frequently) share footage of their kids, often bringing Sterling and Bronze to cheer on their dad at Arrowhead Stadium and beyond. Both 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were on hand to watch Patrick lead the Chiefs to their back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 2023 and 2024.
