BREAKING NEWS: Ohio Mom Accused of Pouring Soap in Infant’s Mouth, Spitting on Her. giang

An Ohio mother is facing criminal charges for allegedly abusing her baby by spitting at her and pouring dish soap down her mouth, authorities said.

Cloe Workman, 20, is charged with child endangerment and domestic violence, according to Hamilton County court records. The charges were filed on Dec. 17 and Dec. 18, respectively, according to the records.

Authorities allege Workman was seen in a video spitting on her baby’s face and pouring dish soap in the infant’s mouth, according to unspecified court documents cited by WKRC, the Cincinnati Enquirer, and Fox 19.

The child’s uncle claimed on a GoFundMe campaign that the video was sent to the infant’s father, who is now seeking donations to help him hire an attorney and gain custody of the child.

According to Fox 19, Loveland, Ohio police and Child Protective Services launched an investigation after seeing the video on Dec. 16.

It’s unclear if Workman has entered a plea or retained an attorney to speak on her behalf.
