Deshaun Watson, quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, spared no expense in celebrating his girlfriend Jilly Anais’ 29th birthday on Thursday. Despite being sidelined for the season after suffering a devastating Achilles injury in Week 7 against the Bengals, Watson made sure the occasion was nothing short of spectacular.
The festivities began with Watson decorating their Miami apartment in an elegant display of red and gold balloons. Later, the couple enjoyed an intimate seafood dinner aboard a private yacht, as captured in a video shared by Anais on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday To You Queen!” Watson, who is also 29, wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post featuring photos of the couple. “4ever love you ma! Grateful to celebrate with you! The pair’s bond appears stronger than ever, following a viral Christmas TikTok video from Watson that sparked speculation about their relationship. The video discussed “letting go of someone you love if they disrupt your peace,” but Thursday’s celebration dispelled any rumors of discord.
“I say this every year, but this was the best birthday ever,” Anais wrote on her Instagram Story.
Watson also went above and beyond with his gifts for Anais. He presented her with a stunning crocodile red Birkin bag, a coveted item among luxury fashion enthusiasts, and an 18K rose gold bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels valued at $19,300.
“Thank you, baby,” Anais said in a video as she gleefully danced around the room with her new treasures.
The couple, who celebrated their fifth anniversary in July, has been together since Anais’ split from Pelicans point guard Dejounte Murray in 2018. Anais, a model and performer, has been a steadfast partner to Watson throughout his career highs and challenges.
