Travis Kelce may have been hoping for a chill Thanksgiving as he gears up for an intense Friday game with the Kansas City Chiefs, but Taylor Swift reportedly has different plans for him.

While the Chiefs tight end is fortunate to have Thanksgiving day off, given their next big game isn’t until Friday against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium, he’s expected to be far from restful. The NFL star is poised to spend the holiday with his megastar girlfriend and her family, where Swift is apparently set to whip up a lavish feast – though Kelce might just wish for a more laid-back celebration after fulfilling his assigned task for the day.

Come the feast’s conclusion, 35-year-old Kelce will face his own challenge. He has been tasked with “dishes duty” for the grand family soiree, according to the Daily Mail.

An informant shared with the news source that “Taylor is spending the holiday with Travis and several family members,” adding, “Taylor and Travis are both grateful to have the day off so that they can just really relax and enjoy their second Thanksgiving together.”

The insider then revealed: “Taylor really enjoys cooking and is already prepping tomorrow’s big meal. Travis loves her food and is on dishes duty this year.”

Taylor Swift is reportedly putting her culinary skills to the test, while beau Travis Kelce takes on the less glamorous task of dish duty a humble chore before his big game with the Kansas City Chiefs this Friday. Despite the domestic scene, Kelce is said to be relishing his day off, even if it includes kitchen cleanup.

Amidst the buzz, Chiefs president Mark Donovan has stepped in to quash the chatter about Swift and Kelce’s relationship being a mere PR setup. The couple, who’ve been an item for over a year, have been spotted with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, drawing considerable attention.

Despite persistent rumors suggesting their romance is a strategic move, Donovan took to CNBC’s Squawk Box to set the record straight, denying the publicity stunt allegations and commending the authenticity of their relationship. “I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship, and we’re happy to have it,” he affirmed.
