Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories hinting at possible foul play after people who were with her dad when he died reached out to her
Brooke Hogan posted a slightly cryptic message to her Instagram Stories about her father’s death and the ‘mystery’ surrounding what may have happened to him.
Wrestling star Hulk Hogan, aka Terry Bollea, died on July 24 at the age of 71 at his Clearwater, Florida, home. His official cause of death was acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack. His medical records revealed that he was battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia and atrial fibrillation, along with recovering from neck surgery.
The 37-year-old took to social media on Wednesday to comment on theories that foul play was involved in her dad’s death, asking people to “stop speculating” and “stop asking.”
Brooke’s statement was posted in four parts on her Instagram.
She claims she has “100% gotten legit calls from professionals” who are “putting their careers at risk because they feel so compelled to do the right thing.”
She says people ranging from police officials to nurses who were supposedly with her father on the day of his death are telling her she needs to “see body cam footage” and “get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative.”
She goes on to explain, “I do not have answers as to if the officials who have contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office. And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.”
Neither she nor Hulk’s widow, Sky Daily, is able to access information regarding his death, leaving the family with more questions than answers, though she says her brother Nick is “boots on the ground with everything.” She explained, “I can not do anything, my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad – even as his daughter. Those are the rules as I’ve been told.”
She also claimed “All body cam footage and 911 dispatch calls are not available via the freedom of information act. It’s all on lockdown. I do not know why.”
Though there have been reports that the wrestler was cremated shortly after his death, Brooke says she isn’t exactly sure if that’s true. “I do not have any information on if or when he is being cremated. Could have been right after he died, could be tomorrow. I do not know,” she wrote.
“I have been told by my brother there will be an autopsy. I do not know who will be performing the autopsy. Any information I receive from an autopsy- if one happens-whether I believe it or not, I will be keeping private out of respect for my father.”
“Do I question his general physician signing off on his death certificate, given his background which is available for anyone to see via a simple Google search? You can answer that one for yourself,” Brooke added.
“I have to trust that my brother is doing his best to get answers. At the end of the day, answers would be great, but none of it brings my dad back. And my hands are tied,” the mother of two said.
